The studio

We build software, games and tools that can stand on their own.

ecls studio is an independent development studio. The name is a nod to Extra Corporeal Life Support — the vital assistance that takes over when the body can't keep up. We like the image: good software can support an idea, a workflow, a team or a precise moment without taking over.

Mission

Why we do this

Put useful systems into the world. The line is broad on purpose: it covers a game for a short break, a professional tool that speeds up a day, a prototype that proves an intuition, or a product that deserves to become a real business.

L—01
Create legible value
Before technology, there has to be a reason to exist: a simpler use, a better moment, a lighter process, a possible market.
L—02
Pick the right stack
Web, mobile, backend, game, AR, internal tool: the stack follows the product, budget, timeline and distribution constraints.
L—03
Monetize cleanly
A product should be able to make money without betraying its use. Direct purchase, licensing, services, subscription or hybrid model: we keep the options open.
L—04
Actually ship
A project that never ships helps no one. We would rather deliver a clear, measurable and improvable first version than delay forever.
stack

Tech we use

We're not tied to any specific stack. Public interface, professional tool, interactive experience, lightweight backend, automation or prototype: if the project makes sense, we pick the pile that fits.

  • Web, mobile and multi-surface products
  • Static, dynamic and real-time interfaces
  • Interactive experiences, AR and geolocation
  • Lightweight backend, PHP, APIs and managed services
  • Internal tools and prototypes
The team

The team

Small structure. Deliberately small. We stay human-sized to stay fast. At this stage we don't publish an org chart — the next version of this page will welcome members as we go.
